The History of the Oratory in Hawaii..

Learn about the history of the Oratary as you explore www.oratoryhawaii.orgA Long Way From Rome to Hawaii.  St. Philip Neri renewed the church through laity.  He began his ministry in Rome as a hermit with a street ministry.  This grew into a movement of laity which met at an Oratory.

 

We have dedicated the Oratory in Hawaii to this mission:  to be an open contemplative community offering prayer and hospitality to anyone seeking God.
