Your class representatives meet at the Crusader Lounge  to put together some great events to allow for the class to meet with familiar friends and their families.

Come to one or all of our planning sessions and provide some ideas for the class to get together and enjoy the camaraderie!

Even better, suggest some of your own.  Contact any one of your Class Representatives (on the list to the right) and put something together that can make for a great time.

Since our graduation, the Class of '87 has suffered the loss of 5 of its class mates through the years: Joey Barros (1990), Matthew K. Meier (09/25/96) whom passed away of  Mediastinal Germ Cell Tumors (Cancer), Stuart J. Murakami (11/12/02), Randy A. Peters (2/3/08) whom passed away of Sleep Apnea, and most recently Bernard Sean Koahou (4/1/08) whom passed away of Kidney Cancer. 

In their memory, the SLHS87 Annual Fallen Brothers Memorial Golf Tournament was created with a goal to be able to provide an eligible St. Louis High School student with finances they may need to further their education. 

The 4^th Annual Fallen Brothers Memorial Golf Tournament is set for Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Mililani Golf Club with registration at 10:30 a.m., a putt contest at 11:00 a.m. and a shotgun start at 12:00 p.m. (Noon).  We will be following this great event with a dinner at 5:00 p.m. with entertainment at 6:30 p.m. to be provided by our own Michael Pedro and his Island Magic Band!

The fee is $150 per player or save $25 per player with a team of 4 (you only pay $500 for a team of 4 people).  Monies are due by July 10^th.  Please plan to come and support this great class event and remember to download and print the Donation/Sponsorship Request Letter.

We are looking for some volunteers to assist us with registration, 7 contest holes, the beer carts going around, as well as helping out the 72 golfers we are expecting.  Please be sure to download and print this year's Golf Format and Rules so that we can all enjoy a memorable day of golf!

For 2009, we were able to make a difference in the lives of three St. Louis High School Students because of your generous contributions.  Read more about it here.  The 2009 Joey Barros Memorial Scholarship winners were:  Blaise Tom ('09) and Isaac Ramboyon ('12).

The 2009 Matthew Meier Memorial Scholarship winner was Camden Tokunaga ('11). (Sorry, no picture available at this time.)

In 2010, we were able to make a difference in the lives of four St. Louis High School Students because of your generous contributions.  The 2010 Joey Barros Memorial Scholarship winners were:  Keoni Piceno ('13) and Jarell Molina ('10).

The 2010 Matthew Meier Memorial Scholarship winners were Colton Biven ('13) and Joshua Garcia ('12).

Let's Show our Support!

Join us along with the entire Saint Louis School family in welcoming their newest Principal, Ms. Patricia Hamamoto, on Sunday, August 22, 2010 from 4pm - 7pm at the Gerber Fieldhouse on the grounds of Saint Louis School.

There will be food and refreshments being served.  The cost is $8.00 per person.

Ms. Hamamoto is a distinguished educator and administrator with more than 40 years of experience in the field of education, and is the school's first female Principal.  You can read more about her in the article presented and featured on KaimukiHawaii.com.

Calling all Players!

The SLHS Class of ’87 Sports Committee is looking for players, drinkers or just guys to hang out on Presidents Day weekend (Saturday 2/12/11 & Sunday 2/13/11) for the annual SLHS Alumni Softball Tournament.

This is a nice fun tournament to see guys you never see in long time and meet other classes. We usually have a tent so just brig shoes, glove, beer and food and get ready to have a good time with some OLD friends!

LETS GO SAINTS!!

The SLHS Class of ’87 Sports Committee sends a BIG MAHALO to a BIG MAN fellow classmate Keone Morreira for sponsoring our team this past year and taking care of the $250 in Softball Registration Fees!  As always, you TOO can be a star and contribute to this great event (or other of our great causes) by using our our printable donation form by clicking here or by contacting Keone "Mo" Morreira at (808) 780-4048 or via email. 

A big Mahalo to The St. Louis Alumni Association and everyone whom came out, participated, supported everyone there, and had a great time!

The Annual SLAA Softball Tournament is a fundraiser for the St. Louis High School Baseball Team and your generosity is greatly appreciated.

In keeping with Saint Louis tradition, the 25th year after a class graduates marks the Silver Anniversary for that class.  Tradition calls for the class celebrating their 25 years to walk and receive a special Silver Diploma along side of the current graduating class.....or something to that effect.

Certainly this reunion will be an important one in May of 2012 for the entire class and we look forward to a great attendance by the Class of 1987 at the events being planned in both our honor and in honor of the Class of 2012.

In conjunction with our Silver Anniversary Celebration, preparations are being made to celebrate our 25th Year Reunion at America's Favorite Playground - the Fabulous LAS VEGAS!

As a bonus, for all of you families with little ones, we will be continuing the celebration at everyone's favorite theme park: Disneyland!

We hope to have the entire class make it for these great events and look forward to a great number in attendance.

The St. Louis Alumni Association offers much support for all SLHS Graduates from Scholarships, to great family fun!  If you are an active member check out the Crusader Lounge - one of Hawaii's Best Kept Secrets for good times, Live Music and great drinks, and great prices!  You can also host your family or business event at the Clubhouse for a very nominal fee compared to most other local gathering places.  Also, be sure to check out all the other great services offered by the SLAA.

The SLAA is a great place to meet up with your classmates in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.  There are always events happening just for the Men of St. Louis, as well as their families.  Come and join us at the SLHS Varsity Football Tailgating Events, take some great trips to Europe and other foreign lands, or just come for the annual luau's, Christmas Parties, and all kinds of good times!

If you are already a member, be sure to continue to renew your membership and remain active by becoming a part of the leadership of the Association.  If you are not a member, please contact Bob Takei, Executive Director, to sign up today and get started enjoying all you have missed!
