The Saint Louis Class of '87 acknowledges that we have been blessed with an education second-to-none, and instilled a pride in our school and a greater respect of those whose needs are greater than our own. 

As a non-profit entity (EIN # 87-0803687), the St. Louis Class of 1987 seeks opportunities in which to give back to the community starting with the Class as a whole and the school from which we graduated. All donations are tax deductible and every dollar counts, so please be generous.   

There are many opportunities to give back, and we welcome your participation, both as a volunteer and as a financial donor, as we take care of those in need.

In 2009 the SLHS Class of ’87 Sports Committee has pledged to donate $1000 - $2000 dollars to the St. Louis Athletic Department towards renovating the weight room.  Craig Watase, Class of 1980, is spearheading this project.  If each classmate donates $10 - $20 we can reach our goal. Classmates can mail their donations to the St. Louis School with their check made out to “St. Louis School – Athletic Department”, and make sure to note that the donation comes from the Class of 1987.  Your donations can also be given to Tony Hall or Keith Haina whom will gather the donations and present them to the school.

This is a one-time event for our Class, and we would like to make the school proud by presenting them a sizeable gift.  It's not too late to make your donation!

Since our graduation, the Class of '87 has suffered the loss of 5 of its class mates through the years: Joey Barros (1990), Matthew K. Meier (09/25/96) whom passed away of  Mediastinal Germ Cell Tumors (Cancer), Stuart J. Murakami (11/12/02), Randy A. Peters (2/3/08) whom passed away of Sleep Apnea, and most recently Bernard Sean Koahou (4/1/08) whom passed away of Kidney Cancer. 

In their memory, the SLHS87 Fallen Brothers Scholarship Fund was created with a goal to be able to provide an eligible St. Louis High School student with finances they may need to further their education.  Largely supported by the SLHS87 Annual Fallen Brothers Memorial Golf Tournament, the Class strives to increase its giving each year.  Our goal is to be able to contribute $3500.00 in scholarships next year.

In 2009, we were able to make a difference in the lives of some St. Louis High School Students because of your generous contributions.  Read more about it here.  The 2009 winners were:  Blaise Tom ('09) and Isaac Rambayon ('12) and Camden Tokunaga ('11).
