808 Business Solutions was built on the foundation that when small businesses prosper, everybody prospers.  The backbone of the economy of the United States has always been the small business owner whose hard work and perseverance has helped to build this great country.

It is the never ending dream of many Americans and non-Americans alike to own their own business and be their own boss.  To roll up their sleeves and find the best that is inside them only to give all 110% of it to the benefit of others.

808 Business Solutions started its humble beginnings providing valuable services to its local community by putting young teens and pre-teens to work for the common good: helping small business owners do the day to day tasks that would otherwise keep them from putting that same time and sweat equity into their shops and businesses.  Doing business as Rent-a-Teen Hawaii, those small business owners (mom-and-pop operations that was the fabric of most Hawaii communities even to this very day) got a much needed helping hand at a price too good to pass up and service equivalent to no other.

Expanding its horizons with the advent of the internet and the computer age, Rent-a-Teen Hawaii grew into HAB Productions providing Small Business owners with Marketing and Promotional materials, asset management (through its subsidiary Hawaii Liquidators), assistance with Tax Preparation and Planning and financial reorganization (through its subsidiary Debt Reduction and Management Services).

As the years went by, a more focused approach to its business activities turned HAB Productions into the small business watershed it has become today in 808 Business Solutions.

The small business owner has been, and will continue to be, the backbone of our economy.  And as the business environment changes 808 Business Solutions will be changing along with it - helping the small business owner grow and evolve their businesses and fulfill their own goals and dreams.

At 808 Business Solutions we believe that if one is blessed with certain talents or monetary endowments, that the right thing to do is to share those with the people whom need it most.  In the same way we were blessed, we too should be a blessing to others.

Our success has been so because of those we have been blessed to serve.  We continue to "pay it forward" by giving back to the communities which have supported us by supporting them in the following ways:

Providing Monetary & Asset Donations to Local Non-Profits (Hawaii, California) through the 808 Business Solutions Making an e-Difference Campaign, and encouraging other businesses to contribute goods and services to help those whom help our community.

Supporting Catholic and Christian Based Evangelism (Holy Trinity Church Hawaii, Oratory in Hawaii, Faith Bible Church of Vallejo California, Father Joseph Tacderas and the Latin America Missions, St. Louis Alumni Association) so that a good biblical foundation can be instilled in young and old alike just like our fore-fathers had when they established this great nation.

Contributing the talents of Team 808BIZ - working together with the Hawaii Jaycees (Junior Chamber of Commerce) to support such charitable events as: The Great Aloha Run, Lanakila Meals on Wheels Program (Thanksgiving and Christmas food delivery), American Cancer Society's Relay for Life events, March of Dimes WalkAmerica.

Providing Free or Low Cost Computer Services (along with Web Site Creation and Hosting services (to Veteran's, Elderly, Handicapped, and Low Income Families with Children, and non-profits.

Providing Free Formal and Informal Training Seminars and Business Consultations at such events as: Chamber of Commerce Brown Bag Lunch Seminars, Business Breakfast Meetings, Junior Chamber of Commerce Business Trainings, and other Business Networking events.

Like many small businesses, 808 Business Solutions started from humble beginnings and a dream to serve the needs of others.  We continue to do all we can to help support others as they continue to reach to those in our community.

The Spanish have a saying: "Mi Casa es Su Casa" which translates to "My Home is Your Home".  In our island home, we believe in "aloha 'aina" (literally "Love of the Land" as in to nurture and care for the land), as it is the land that has provided us life and the land that can take it away.

808 Business Solutions has long lived the meaning of Environmental Stewardship - leaving the land better than when you got there, providing new growth where there once was none, clearing trash and man-made items carelessly left behind by others so that those after us can enjoy.

In the same manner, we believe that the communities which we have been placed to serve, are not only our home but the home of those around us.  We work consciously to leave a smaller footprint by using less, wasting less, and recycling more.  We believe in doing all we can to take care of what we have, and to make things last for others to use.

808 Business Solutions strives to teach our clients and vendors in how to be good stewards of the environment.  We work together with local county agencies (such as the Napa County Recycling and Waste Services) to keep e-waste out of landfills by refurbishing and reselling the items through eBay that are still in working condition or could be used for parts.  We also rebuild computers and refurbished other used electronics to donate them to charitable organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, Silver Lining Preschool, Napa Valley Language Academy, Saint Louis High School, and the Yountville Veteran's Home of California through the 808 Business Solutions Making an e-Difference Campaign.
